Your Role


Prestolee Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team at Hollingworth Primary School, with a particular focus on supporting pupils within Key Stage 2. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within KS2, and hold a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification.

About You


We are looking for a person who has:



  1. Proven outstanding experience/practice as a Teaching Assistant Level 3, ideally within Key Stage 2

  2. Experience of supporting and teaching groups of pupils within the primary age range, particularly KS2

  3. A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-related expectations

  4. The ability to support pupils effectively in core areas such as English and mathematics

  5. Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills

  6. Excellent skills in team working

  7. Excellent skills in working with children and supporting them to develop confidence and independence

  8. Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm

  9. A desire for career development

  10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
