The Governors and Headteachers are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our committed and innovative team. Applicants are encouraged to outline their particular strengths and areas of expertise within their application.

This role requires someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, supporting the learning and development of whole classes, small groups, SEND children and individual pupils. Experience of working within an inclusive educational environment is essential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold an NVQ/CACHE Diploma Level 3 qualification or possess equivalent qualifications and/or relevant experience.
  • Work alongside class teachers to provide targeted in-class and out-of-class support to address gaps in learning and promote pupil progress.
  • Provide short-term classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Be highly motivated and committed to making a significant contribution to school life.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Actively support and promote the school's values and inclusive ethos.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be passionate about raising standards and improving outcomes for all children.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of pupils and the school.
  • Maintain high expectations of children's learning, achievement, and behaviour.
  • Be willing to work across the full primary age range as required.
