Full Job Description

At Corby Technical School, we believe in unique learners, unlimited ambition. Our aim is for every student to leave us ready for a successful next step, equipped with the confidence, resilience, and skills to thrive. We create an environment of high support and high challenge, rooted in an inclusive culture and a strong commitment to restorative, asset-based approaches. Join Corby Technical School as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant and play a pivotal role in helping vulnerable learners on the SENd Register thrive. This is a dynamic, people-centred opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships and making a genuine difference every day. You'll work alongside teachers, the SENd Team and pastoral colleagues to provide targeted in-class support, deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, and help students build confidence, resilience and the habits they need to succeed. We have ambition for all, and we're looking for someone who shares that belief-someone calm, consistent and resilient, who is not averse to supporting young people who may present with challenging behaviour or non-compliance. You will help remove barriers to learning by maintaining high expectations, promoting positive behaviour and enabling students to re-engage with school life and progress towards positive futures, supported by training and a strong team culture. Contract: Term time only, 37 hours per week Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday Join us and be part of a team that is committed to high standards, high expectations, and high support for every learner.
