Full Job Description

You will work closely with teachers to support pupils with additional needs, including delivering tailored interventions, assisting with personal care routines, and promoting wellbeing and dignity at all times. Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people are essential.,

  • Provide in-class support to pupils, assisting with learning activities and helping them stay engaged
  • Deliver targeted interventions and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with personal care needs, ensuring dignity, safety, and wellbeing at all times
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence and confidence
  • Work closely with teachers and SEND staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment

    Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience supporting children or young people in an educational or care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt learning activities to meet diverse needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
