- Work closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour, and wellbeing.
- Help implement support plans and monitor learner progress.
- Prepare and adapt learning resources, including the use of ICT where appropriate.
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Contribute to assessments, reports, and record keeping.
- Support learners during exams, trips, residentials, and off-site activities.
- Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and other professionals where required.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and wider school activities as required. We are looking for someone who:
- Is patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Can motivate and engage learners who may face barriers to education.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and supporting pupil wellbeing. What the school offers its staff

- A supportive and collaborative leadership team committed to staff development
- High-quality professional development and leadership opportunities
- A strong pastoral and therapeutic offer, including access to counselling and specialist support
