Full Job Description
We are seeking a candidate with a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential. The ideal applicant will be committed to promoting inclusion and positive behaviour to help our children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We require a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our team. An essential part of the role is supporting on a 1:1 basis and leading intervention groups as well as class-based activities. This is a busy, varied and challenging but rewarding role. The successful applicant will:
- Have a passionate belief that all children deserve the highest quality of education.
- Be self-motivated, dedicated, and consistent.
- Have the ability to deal with new and challenging situations.
- Be a strong team player who can also work on their own initiative.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of pupils, staff, and parents.
- Have good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Show initiative and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a SEND role, supporting classroom learning and ensuring individual progress.
- Build effective relationships with both children and colleagues.
- Maintain high expectations of themselves and those with whom they work.
