Introduction
We are looking to appoint a new apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and passionate SEND team at Irlam and Cadishead Academy. You will support, assist and supervise identified pupil/s with SEND under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo. As part of the role, you will work towards achieving your Level 3 TA apprenticeship.

What You'll Do
You will support the delivery of high-quality, adapted learning activities, working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to help pupils achieve their full potential.
Main duties will include:
- Supporting and supervising identified pupils, including those with SEND
- Encourage positive relationships and co-operative learning
- Promoting independence, resilience and confidence
- Recognising, celebrating and rewarding achievement
- Providing individual and small-group support to enable access to learning
- Supporting the implementation and review of Inclusion Plans
- Promoting the inclusion, participation and success of all pupils
- Maintaining high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development
- Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and achievements
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional and well-being needs
Training Outcome
- You will be qualified as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant which could lead to a HLTA role, teacher training and full teaching role
