This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and dedicated team of teaching professionals who will support you in gaining a Teaching Assistant qualification. The Governors and Head Teacher at Sea View Primary School would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to work towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
You will be required to attend in-set training days and 2 twilight training sessions per academic year.
If you love to support young people and make a difference, this is your chance to take your first steps into the classroom. The successful applicant will work under the guidance of teaching/non-teaching staff to undertake a range of learning activities with pupils in line with school's policies and procedures.
For this apprenticeship the following are required:
- Maths and English Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE qualifications grade A
- to C (or 4 to 9).
- ECHP: For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeships English and Maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 and British Sign Language qualification are an alternative to English qualifications for whom this is their primary language.
