Introduction
Placement in Secondary School working with & supporting students aged 13-16 who require additional classroom support, linking in with families and the wider community.
About the Employer
Leek High is a Secondary School teaching students aged 13-16, we are based on the edge of peak district and have a small co-hort of students from the local community and surrounding villages.
What You'll Do
- Classroom Support - Implementing & developing Plans/adaptations to support student to achieve their potential in lessons
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupils' achievements, progress & development
- Organising and leading extra curricula activities such as Lunch clubs, revision sessions.
- Accompany staff & pupils on visits, trips.
- Encourage pupils to engage in the full spectrum of school life.
- Provide general support to pupils, Promote & safeguard the welfare of young people you come into contact with.
- Comply with H&S & trust policies and proceedures (training will be provided)
Training Outcome
