Teaching Assistant 3 / Cover Supervisor

Seven Stars Primary & Nursery is a busy and vibrant school at an exciting point in our history. Our governors are seeking to appoint a reliable, proactive and committed TA3 / Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This is a key role in which you will be required to supervise classes where the teacher is absent for short-term cover. You will also be expected to provide additional support to class teachers when TAs are unavailable. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates. • GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language
• NVQ level 3 or above qualification - appropriate to the post (or equivalent).
Desirable Qualifications
• Paediatric First Aid
• Positive handling and restraint training
Essential Experience
• Experience of working in a Primary School setting
• Experience in covering classes and experience throughout the primary phase
• Supporting children with one-to-one interventions
