Full Job Description
Carleton Green is a thriving and vibrant school, which is child-centred in its approach, with the aim of enabling every child to develop their full potential. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for a pupil with a physical disability. The ideal candidate will have an interest in SEND and be required to undertake necessary training to support this pupil. This position is to support the pupil throughout their Primary School life. The hours of work will be 32.5 (9.00am - 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch) We are looking for someone who:-
- Is patient, This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro -rata basis. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
- Sensitive, calm and nurturing
- Has a good sense of humour
- Has the ability to think 'outside the box' and use their imagination
- Has good communication skills and can work effectively as part of a team.
