Full Job Description
The Governors of Sandylands CP School would like to appoint an experienced, dedicated and skilled teaching assistant to work in nursery/early years. The role will involve working with individuals and groups to enable children achieve their very best. The post is advertised initially as temporary for 12 months. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro -rata basis. - NVQ level 2 or above qualification - appropriate to the post Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for young children.
- Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 2 standard.
- Ability to relate well to children Desirable Experience
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
