Full Job Description

Salary: T.A. Level 1/2, point 5-6, £26,427 to £26,847 pro rata to £16,438 to £16,699 per annum for hours worked.

Hours of work: 26 hours and 40 minutes per week plus one hour per month for training, working 39 weeks per year.

Working hours are 8.40am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday with a 40-minute lunch and a 20-minute break. These hours will include a daily lunch duty.

We are currently looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis until June 2027, to support the work of our excellent Special Needs Department.

Applicants should possess a range of skills to enable them to work with young people with special needs including those with complex behaviour issues.
