Teaching Assistant

St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Level 2. This role will be based at Trinity Catholic School. This is a permanent, part time working 32.5 hours per week on a term time only plus 5 INSET days basis (39 weeks per year). The successful candidate will be someone who

• is fully supportive of our Catholic ethos of the school
• has a TA qualification and previous experience working in a school environment
• has strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• has high expectations of all children and for all children
• has energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude
• has a creative approach to the curriculum and the commitment to provide first class child support, to satisfactory pre-employment checks including two suitable references, evidence of Right to Work, Medical Clearance and where applicable a prohibition check and evidence of qualifications. All successful candidates will be required to present their birth certificate along with evidence of any name changes. This post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. Therefore, the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
