Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support pupils' educational, social, and emotional development. Whether assisting individual students with specific needs or working with small groups, your support will be instrumental in creating an engaging classroom experience.,

• Classroom Support: Assist class teachers in preparing teaching materials, setting up activities, and maintaining an organized classroom environment.
• Student Guidance: Work 1-on-1 or in small groups to support pupils with literacy, numeracy, and general coursework.
• Inclusion & SEN Support: Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or additional learning requirements.
• Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment following school policies.
• Supervision: Assist with supervision during break times, lunchtime, and school outings or extracurricular activities.

• Are you passionate about supporting children to ensure that all students reach their full potential?, Education: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above. Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and empathy when interacting with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Adaptability: Ability to stay flexible, take initiative, and work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
• Safeguarding: A strong commitment to child protection, safeguarding procedures, and promoting student welfare.
