Full Job Description
The successful will work with teachers to support teaching and learning by working with the class, small groups or individuals under the direction of teaching staff and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan. To support the class teacher in delivering the learning intension., Burford School and the Marlow Education Trust has a responsibility for and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and for ensuring that they are protected from harm, therefore it is an offence to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore applicants are required to declare:
- All unspent cautions and convictions cautions
- All adult cautions and spent convictions that are not protected (i.e. that are not filtered out) as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2020). The post is subject to an enhanced DBS including the children's barred list check and qualifications check. As part of Burford School's and the Marlow Education Trust's pre-recruitment due diligence checks, online searches may be conducted for shortlisted candidates.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30am-3.15pm (including 30 minutes daily unpaid break) Total Weekly Hours: 31.25 Working Weeks: 38 weeks (Term Time) FTE Salary: Bucks Pay Range 1b Points 6-10; £24,836 - £25,823 Actual Salary: £17,386 - £18,077 (Depending on experience), What we offer
