What You'll Do
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and within the classroom to help them engage in learning and achieve their individual goals.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver creative, engaging and personalised learning experiences.
- Encourage pupils' communication, confidence, emotional wellbeing and independence.
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), Communication Profiles and personalised learning strategies.
- Create positive, trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued and ready to learn.
- Prepare learning resources and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve the very best outcomes.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people.
We're seeking someone who is: - Adaptable and proactive, able to support pupils in a variety of settings
- Caring and patient, with a genuine interest in helping young people thrive
- Team-focused, working collaboratively alongside skilled staff in a supportive environment
- Willing to learn, with an open and positive approach to training and professional development
- Qualified with GCSE English and Maths Level 4/C (or equivalent) Whether you're supporting classroom learning, leading outdoor activities, or helping pupils build independence and self-belief, your work will help shape lives.
