The Headteacher and Governing Body of St. Paul's C of E Junior School wish to appoint an inspirational, compassionate and flexible Senior Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, hard-working team. St. Paul's C.E. Junior School is an inclusive, supportive school and our dedicated team believe in providing the children with a wealth of learning opportunities designed to nurture the whole child. An emphasis is placed on active, outdoor learning as it improves both children's wellbeing and their attainment. We are a Church of England Junior School with a distinctive Christian ethos and strong links with our local church and community. We are looking for a candidate who: - Has good communication skills.
- Has compassion and sensitivity towards children.
- Has knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Has relevant experience and qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent QCF for Teaching Assistant/ NVQ Level 3 or equivalent QCF for Senior Teaching Assistant) to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
- Has experience of contributing to the planning of work and adaptation of resources to meet the needs of individual pupils.
- Is able to adapt to what the situation requires.
- Is able to work as part of a team.
- Has a passion for children's wellbeing and learning.
- Values a holistic approach to children's learning.
