About You: We're looking for someone with:Essential Qualifications GCSE Maths and English (minimum Functional Skills Level 2). Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or willingness to work towards). Essential Skills & Experience Commitment to putting the child first and treating them as an individual. Ability to promote independence and positive behaviour. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Competent ICT skills and ability to work as part of a team. Desirable Previous experience in a SEND setting. Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures. The role: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing, ensuring every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential. You'll work closely with the Class Teacher and wider team to create a caring, safe and stimulating environment. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with learning activities and reinforcing concepts taught by the teacher.
