Qualified Teaching Assistants Needed - Primary Schools in Matlock Are you an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work within primary schools? We are currently recruiting qualified Teaching Assistants to support a range of fantastic primary schools across Matlock. This is a great opportunity to work in supportive school environments while making a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development. The Role We are seeking qualified Teaching Assistants with classroom experience across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. You will play a key role in supporting teachers and helping pupils reach their full potential. Working Hours School hours typically between 8:30am - 3:30pm

Full-time positions Key Responsibilities As a Teaching Assistant, your day-to-day duties will include: Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning
Assisting pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Preparing classroom resources and learning materials
Supporting literacy and numeracy development
Encouraging pupil participation, confidence, and independence
Supervising pupils during break times, lunch, and activities
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Requirements Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a primary school setting
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
