Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Brick Lane School, London E2 6DY Salary: £24,675.00 per annum (not pro rata) Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am - 4.00pm Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only Start: April 2026 UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant at Brick Lane School, you won't just support learning - you'll help shape lives. You'll work closely with pupils who have a range of needs and strengths, supporting them through personalised learning journeys built on trust, encouragement, and consistency. You'll assist with preparing engaging lessons, delivering hands-on activities, and providing essential emotional and physical support. Whether supporting learning in the classroom or facilitating outdoor activities, no two days will be the same. You'll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values your contribution and encourages your professional development as you grow in confidence and experience. What You'll Do
- Support pupils with varied and complex needs to access learning and develop independence
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of classroom and practical activities
- Provide tailored emotional, physical, and social support
- Work flexibly across classroom and outdoor learning environments
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils About You You will have:
- Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- A compassionate, adaptable approach to supporting pupils
