Full Job Description
To support teaching and learning activities under the guidance of the classroom teacher, helping to provide a safe and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals beginning their career in education.,
- Support pupils in accessing learning activities as directed by the class teacher.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining classroom resources and displays.
- Provide general administrative support to the class teacher (e.g. photocopying, filing, preparation of materials).
- Supervise pupils in group or 1:1 settings as needed, including supporting positive behaviour.
- Support pupils with personal care needs when appropriate (training provided if required).
- Help maintain a safe, clean and tidy learning environment.
- Support with playground and lunchtime supervision if required.
- Attend relevant training and participate in school activities as directed.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent). - Willingness to undertake training as required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
