Full Job Description

You'll become part of Exeter College's Professional and Adult Learning faculty-a proactive, collaborative, and employment & community-focused team committed to delivering outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment. We work closely with local employers and community partners to ensure our provision meets the needs of learners and the wider region.

Exeter College's Young ESOL provision is thriving, we're proud of our strong success rates and we are ambitious for our young people. The job will involve teaching 16-18 year olds to develop their English language skills to prepare them for GCSE or ESOL assessments.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced part-time Teacher to join our dedicated team to teach English.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience teaching English

Enjoys working with diverse groups, including asylum seekers and refugees

Brings excellent communication and teamwork skills

Uses dynamic, engaging teaching methods

Experience with ESOL students and supporting them to develop strong literacy skills will be advantageous, but not essential.
