We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Teachers (SEN) to join our fantastic team at Camberwell Park Specialist School This is a permanent, full-time role on the Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale plus SEN allowance, ideally starting January 2027. The Opportunity We are seeking two passionate and committed SEN Teachers to join our specialist team. The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be qualified to teach in the UK
- Have successful teaching experience and experience working with children and young people with additional needs
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners
- Understand the importance of personalised learning and adaptive teaching
- Be committed to promoting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be reflective, resilient and committed to ongoing professional development

- Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities What You'll Be Doing As a Teacher at Camberwell Park, you will fulfil the professional responsibilities outlined in the Teachers' Standards and School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document. You will:
- Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of pupils
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can succeed
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place
- Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic achievement
- Promote positive behaviour for learning in line with school policies
- Contribute to the development of curriculum planning, teaching resources and assessment practices
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupil outcomes
- Contribute to school self-evaluation and improvement initiatives
- Participate in professional development opportunities and support the development of colleagues where appropriate
