Teacher of A Level Sociology & Psychology Location: Haringey Sixth Form College Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (pro-rota) Contract: Part-time (0.6 FTE), Permanent Start Date: September 2026 Are you passionate about raising standards in 16-19 education, committed to excellence and rigour, and driven to provide a world-class educational experience? About the Role As a Teacher of A Level Sociology & Psychology at H6, you will: Deliver high-quality, engaging and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity and ambition. Support students to achieve excellent outcomes, including high pass rates and strong high-grade profiles. Use data intelligently to inform teaching, intervention and curriculum planning. Contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and quality improvement. Act as a personal tutor, supporting students' academic progress, wellbeing and future pathways. Play an active role in enrichment, progression and the wider life of the college. You will be teaching motivated, respectful and aspirational students who are preparing for top universities, apprenticeships and competitive employment routes. - Has strong subject knowledge in Sociology & Psychology (A Level)
