This post carries a Recruitment and Retention payment of £2000 per year for two years (to August 2028)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established and highly successful Science faculty at Mountain Ash Comprehensive School. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Science (Physics) who will strengthen teaching at KS4, supporting the Double Science and Triple Science lessons and will continually strive to raise pupil aspirations and attainment.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner who seeks to inspire and motivate learners, build strong relationships and help them to make progress both in learning and in developing their literacy skills. In line with our ethos, we wish to appoint a candidate who is committed to inclusivity and who plans and delivers lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners, using differentiation and assessment for learning strategies to facilitate progress in learning.
As we have an established and experienced Science faculty we welcome applications from candidates who are in the early stages of their careers, including NQTs.
