Teacher of Science / Physics

(Starting salary point on the MPS / UPS negotiated at interview)

Are you looking to become a valued member in a team of passionate teachers who are committed to delivering a curriculum that emphasises a deep understanding of science and encourages curiosity and success? We are looking for someone to join NSB following our recognition as 'Secondary School of the Year' at the Northamptonshire Education Awards and 'Comprehensive School of the Year' in the East Midlands for 2025 - the third time we have secured this honour in The Times and The Sunday Times 'Best Schools' Guide' based on our outstanding GCSE and A level results. We are also immensely proud of our most recent Ofsted report from March 2025 which celebrated our 'Outstanding' provision in all areas of the inspection framework.
We are inviting applicants to share in our driven, supportive and aspirational culture who can help to deliver our science curriculum to the highest standards - a curriculum that we passionately believe helps to inspire students' intellectual curiosity and investigative skills in science.
We are looking to appoint a science teacher with the specialist expertise to deliver Physics to GCSE and A level. The successful candidate must have experience of delivering high quality teaching and learning and yielding positive outcomes for all students at GCSE and/or A level. You must be a highly motivated professional with a desire to support students across a range of abilities and able to adapt lessons and existing resources to ensure these are driven by evidence-informed practice.
