We are looking for a Teacher of Science to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity of working together to generate and celebrate success within our communities. Start Date - September 2026

We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Science to join our Science department and build upon its current success. Study of Sciences is popular within the school, with over 80% of students taking GCSEs in separate sciences and all three sciences are among the most highly subscribed subjects at A-Level.

  • Have a passion for Science and the ability to inspire both staff and students.
  • Have experience of successful teaching of Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Have experience teaching, or the ability to teach, at least one Science subject to A-Level.
  • Continue to raise achievement through high quality teaching and learning within the department, informed by internal and external data.
  • Contribute to whole school improvement and self-evaluation
  • The ability and willingness to teach Mathematics at Key Stage 3 would be advantageous
