Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Psychology to join us at New College Pontefract.
You will plan, prepare and deliver engaging and stimulating Psychology lessons that enable students to fulfil their academic potential in the subject, through the delivery of high-quality teaching and the effective use of resources.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range.
With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training, you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching. Applications from both 11-16 teachers and ECTs are welcome.
Full time or part time (3 to 5 days) hours are available for this role, please state your preference on your application. This is a permanent vacancy however we would also accept applications from candidates seeking a temporary position.
