Teacher of Physics (One-Term)

Sutton Valence school are looking for a dedicated, dynamic, and inspirational teacher to teach Physics from September 2026 on a one-term fixed term contract. The candidate must promote the highest standards of teaching and learning in the classroom, be innovative and invested in contributing to the development of the Departments, all whilst ensuring an outstanding level of pupil pastoral care. The candidate should be able to teach an engaging curriculum in Physics as part of the KS3 and KS4 double award, and general Science to Juniors. Adaptability and effective differentiation is critical to cater for a broad ability range. Applicants should have excellent organisational and time-management skills, and enjoy leading and working as part of a team, with an ability to provide effective guidance and support to all colleagues. The department's teaching style is very much centred on the pupils and their individual needs, and the successful candidate should be fully committed to this aim.
