About this Role
Uppingham School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Physics to join our highly successful Science department on a full-time, fixed-term basis.
You will teach Physics across the age range to our highly motivated students, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of the subject and allow students to fulfil their academic potential. In addition to classroom teaching, you will play a full role in the life of this vibrant seven-day week boarding school, taking on additional responsibilities and serving as a tutor within one of our fifteen boarding houses.
Science occupies a central place within the academic life of Uppingham. We have invested in exceptional facilities and hold ambitious aspirations for the future, aiming to establish Uppingham as the national centre for excellence in Science education in the United Kingdom.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a proven ability to build positive relationships with students.
