Full Job Description

Required for September 2026, an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to join our thriving and highly successful Physics department.

With modern technology and hands-on learning in superb laboratories we aim to encourage independent learning and scientific thinking. The successful candidate will thrive on teaching highly motivated students across KS3, GCSE and A Level.

The ability to offer some teaching of an additional subject-such as Maths or another science-and to contribute to the wider extracurricular life of the school would also be advantageous.

Please note that we teach general science to our Year 7 students.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual to work with talented students and dedicated staff.

The position is full time and fixed term for one academic year in the first instance.

Salary is MPS/UPS.

Applications are equally welcome from experienced Teachers or from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who would be provided with an excellent support and induction package delivered through the Independent Schools Teacher Induction Panel (ISTIP).

Further details and an application form can be obtained from the recruitment section of our website or by emailing the HR Department at hr@wgsf.net.
