Full Job Description

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Teach across the age and ability range, adapting teaching to meet diverse learner needs
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, inform teaching and support intervention
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with Science colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practice
  • Contribute to the wider life of the academy, including enrichment opportunities

    Is a qualified teacher (or ECT) with strong subject knowledge in Physics

    Longsands Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Physics to join our ambitious Science faculty from September. This is a full-time, permanent position, paid on the Main Pay Scale (MPS).
