Job title: Teacher of PE - Head of Hockey Hours: 0.8 FTE (Applications for both full time and part time will be considered) Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover until 2nd July 2027 Grade: Westholme School Pay Scale Reports to: Director of Sport Term: September 2026 Closing date: Sunday 19 April 2026 at 10:00pm Purpose of the Job: The Head of Hockey will provide strategic leadership, direction and development of hockey across the school (ages 3-18), ensuring high standards of participation and performance. The postholder will lead and grow an ambitious hockey programme, while contributing fully to the delivery of Physical Education and the wider sporting life of the school. A willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities such as clubs, competitions and educational visits is essential, and other interests which are particular strengths of the successful candidate would also be welcome.
