Are you a passionate educator committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and sporting excellence? St Mark's is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join our dedicated team. As a small, supportive school, we pride ourselves on knowing our students well. We are looking for a teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for physical activity while maintaining high standards of achievement and behavior., You will be responsible for teaching a full range of abilities, ensuring that every student is motivated to improve their fitness and engage in a healthy lifestyle. Beyond the classroom, you will play a pivotal role in the vibrant life of our school by:
- Organising school sports teams, inter-school matches, and extracurricular clubs.
- Leading a tutor group and supporting the personal and social well-being of our students.
- Contributing to the development of innovative schemes of work.
- Promoting career opportunities within the world of sport and physical development.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a good honours degree in a relevant subject. - A clear philosophy on how to challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
- The ability to use data and ICT effectively to raise standards.
- A "can-do" attitude-as a small school, the flexibility to occasionally teach outside of your specialism is highly valued.
