Teacher of Musicianship - Virtual Menuhin School (VMS)

The Yehudi Menuhin School's unique virtual school provides opportunities for young musicians from around the world to engage in world-class musicianship and instrumental lessons online. The position is for a Teacher of Musicianship in VMS. This is a Permanent, Part-time position. It's anticipated the teaching will more or less follow the present routine as follows:

• Fridays 15:30-17:00 (3 x 30-minute Musicianship classes - groups up to 4).
• Saturdays 07:15-10.30 (4 x 30-minute Musicianship classes - groups up to 4) (1 x 30-minute Music History - group up to 15) (1 x 45-minute Homework Clinic - group up to 15)
The salary is £5,000 per annum. YMS also offers a very generous pension, contributing 13.5% every month, with the employee contributing at least 6%. The School is registered with the DBS and successful applicants will be required to complete successfully the Disclosure Procedure at Enhanced level.
