George Salter Academy are seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspiring Head of Music to lead a thriving and well-resourced Music department within our successful and inclusive 11-18 secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher of Music, or an aspiring middle leader, to shape the strategic development of Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable), raising attainment and increasing pupil participation in curricular and extracurricular music. The successful candidate will combine strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice and confident leadership to ensure that Music continues to engage, challenge and inspire all learners.
