The Role You will deliver dynamic and exciting French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring a love of languages and culture and contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging and accessible for all students.

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in French and Spanish
  • Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies to engage students and promote progress
  • Foster an enthusiasm for languages and cultural understanding
  • Track and support students' progress, providing targeted intervention where necessary
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and enrich the MFL curriculum
  • Participate in school events, trips and activities linked to MFL
  • What We're Looking For
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • A degree in a relevant subject
  • Evidence of professional development relevant to MFL
  • Successful teaching experience in French and Spanish, ideally across KS3 and KS4
  • Experience of developing engaging resources and schemes of work
  • Experience of assessing and tracking student progress
