Full Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics teaching across the relevant key stages, ensuring pupils develop strong numerical understanding, problem-solving skills, and a secure foundation in the subject. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing and tracking pupil progress, and maintaining high expectations of achievement and behaviour. The post holder will fulfil the professional duties of a School Teacher as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document and will contribute positively to the Catholic life and mission of the school, supporting pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and more experienced practitioners are welcomed. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic teaching professional who can work as part of our dedicated and exceptional team. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to meet the Teachers' Standards. All classroom teachers will contribute to the curriculum and year teams in supporting the school's mission statement and achieving its aims. As a professional within a Catholic School, you will be expected to enhance the life of the school by delivering and developing high quality teaching and learning, contributing to the work of the teams of teaching and support staff, being reflective about your own practice and effectiveness: sharing with, and learning from the work of others, and constantly seeking ways to improve through innovation and research.
