Teacher of Mathematics with TLR - KS5 and High Prior Attaining Students

This exciting new post provides an excellent opportunity for an outstanding practitioner wanting to progress into leadership within a forward-thinking and ambitious Maths team. The purpose of this role is to support the leadership and management of a thriving KS5 offer, as well as responsibility for the attainment, progress and experience of high prior attaining students in Mathematics. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:

• support the Head of Maths to develop and implement policies and practices for Maths which reflect the school's commitment to high achievement and effective teaching and learning;
• work with the Head of Maths on the development of appropriate syllabi, assessment and teaching and learning strategies for the development and resourcing of Maths;
• promote teamwork, creating a climate which enables other staff to develop;
• use data effectively in Maths to monitor and secure student outcomes for Maths at KS5 and for students who are high prior attaining;
• support curriculum development for the department in line with national initiatives.
