Teacher of Mathematics (KS3-KS5)

Sackville School is seeking to appoint an inspiring and committed Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, support pupils as a Form Tutor, and contribute to a culture of high expectations and strong academic outcomes.
Applications are invited from passionate Maths teachers who can motivate and challenge pupils across GCSE and A Level. About the Role and You

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will inspire pupils to develop confidence, problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of Mathematics within a structured and supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and A Level
· Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
· Preparing pupils effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations
· Monitoring, assessing and reporting on pupil progress to support strong outcomes
· Maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive classroom environment
· Acting as a Form Tutor, supporting the academic and pastoral development of pupils
· Contributing to extracurricular activities, including clubs and enrichment opportunities
· Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and outcomes

About You
We are looking for a teacher who combines strong subject expertise with a commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing. You will bring:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
· A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
· Proven experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and A Level
· Strong subject knowledge across relevant exam board specifications
· A track record of improving student attainment and progress
· The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
· Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
· A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school
