Full Job Description
Archway school is seeking to appoint an inspirational Mathematics teacher with the responsibility for the vision, direction and the continuous improvement of A Level Mathematic provision. This is an excellent developmental opportunity and we welcome applications from all qualified teachers with a passion for mathematics, a determination to drive improvements in teaching and learning and an expectation that all students will reach their potential. Alongside the teaching of Mathematic this position will hold the responsibility for the strategic development of A Level Mathematics. The successful candidate will provide expert leadership in A Level Mathematics, including delivering targeted sessions, advising on curriculum design and ensuring excellence in teaching and outcomes. There is also the opportunity to provide structured guidance and mentoring to support non-specialists and early-career teachers. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head of Department and team. The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and accessible maths lessons.
- Support students in developing confidence and problem-solving skills in mathematics.
- Work closely with the Maths department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the wider school community and student enrichment activities. What the school offers its staff Successful candidates will benefit from:
