Abbey College Cambridge is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to deliver high-quality, engaging education that enables students to achieve strong academic outcomes and progress confidently to their next stage of study. The role involves effective curriculum delivery, assessment and student support, alongside a commitment to safeguarding, professional standards and contribution to the wider college community. The Mathematics Department at Abbey College Cambridge is a large and very successful department of committed professionals who are passionate about the subject. We come from a range of backgrounds and experiences and we work together as a friendly and mutually supportive team. We currently offer a wide range of courses to suit all individual needs, including; AS/A Level Mathematics, AS/A Level Further Mathematics, GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics, Foundation, pre-sessional, STEP and AEA classes. Abbey College Cambridge is an independent international boarding sixth-form college, providing A Level and foundation programmes to students from UK and across the world. - Delivering high quality lessons.
- Facilitating the college's goal of high student academic achievement.
- Informing parents about student progress.
- Engaging in the college's pastoral care for all students in the college.
- Engaging in appraisals and reviews, and taking part in training and development. Qualifications and Experience Teaching international students at GCSE and A-level should be a passion for you and to be considered for this position you must hold a degree-level qualification and Knowledge of the appropriate curricula.
