Inspire the next generation through language, culture and global opportunity

The GORSE Academies Trust is seeking a passionate, ambitious and inspiring Teacher of Mandarin Chinese to join our growing provision.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and expanding Mandarin Chinese across our trust. Working alongside our Curriculum Leader of Mandarin and our Mandarin team, you will deliver high-quality teaching across primary, secondary and Post-16 settings, bringing the language and culture to life for young people.

We are looking for a teacher who:

· Has the energy, creativity and subject expertise to deliver engaging and challenging lessons that drive strong progress.

· Is committed to high expectations and ensuring every student achieves their full potential.

· Can build strong relationships with students, colleagues and families.

· Demonstrates the drive and ambition to contribute to a rapidly developing and innovative provision.

Whether you are at the start of your teaching career or an experienced practitioner, you will be supported to develop and thrive within a high-performing, collaborative organisation.

What you'll bring

You will:

· Be a skilled classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching Mandarin Chinese.

· Have experience of teaching at KS3 and KS4, with a track record of strong outcomes (or successful placements if training).

· Demonstrate secure subject knowledge and the ability to plan engaging, well-sequenced lessons that inspire learners.

· Use effective assessment and feedback strategies to drive progress and raise attainment.

· Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

· Have a clear understanding of current educational developments, including supporting disadvantaged pupils.

Above all, you will share our commitment to excellence, inclusion and opportunity for all.

Why join us?

At GORSE, you'll be part of a trust where:

· High challenge and high support underpin everything we do.

· Staff at every stage benefit from exceptional professional development and career progression.

· Collaboration and innovation are actively encouraged.

· You can make a genuine difference to students' life chances.

What we offer you:

As a trust, we want to ensure that professionals at every stage in their career have the opportunity to enjoy expert support and training. We are pleased to offer a generous benefits package to our team - as we work together to create a rewarding future for all including:

· Membership of the Teachers' Pension Scheme.

· A commitment to continued investment in our professionals, supporting every member of staff throughout their career in the trust.

· Access to an Employee Assistance Programme which provides confidential professional advice and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

· £2k Cycle to work scheme.
