  • Knowledge and experience in KS3 and KS4

  • Established and evidenced practice as a good/outstanding teacher

  • Evidence of a commitment to own professional development

  • Ability to contribute to the professional development/mentoring of colleagues, as required

  • Evidence of high achievement in teaching across the age range

  • Deep understanding of core concepts including programming, algorithms, computational thinking, and computer systems.

  • Competent in using Python IDLE software

  • Experience using Photoshop

  • Effective classroom management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and parents
