Teacher of Humanities

Wilsthorpe School is looking for an inspirational Teacher of Humanities to join our Humanities Team. This role is perfect for an individual who is committed to students' learning in ensuring all students achieve their full potential by consistently delivering engaging lessons at a high standard. The successful candidate will join a strong, supportive and forward-thinking Humanities Team who are driven to providing an outstanding education where all students excel.

We are looking to appoint a classroom teacher who has excellent subject knowledge and is passionate to motivate, support and challenge all students. The ideal candidate will have the skills and expertise to deliver lessons where students develop a strong understanding of Humanities while on their learning journey with Wilsthorpe School. The timetable will include Geography, History and RE so the successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 Humanities and core KS4 RE. This role would equally suit an ambitious ECT or an experienced teacher., We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced level DBS disclosure with a children's barred list check, two satisfactory references and successful completion of vetting procedures.
