Full Job Description

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons (Geography, History and/or Religious Studies) that engage, challenge and support all learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide effective feedback, and inform future Humanities teaching and learning.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and backgrounds of all students across the Humanities curriculum.
  • Contribute to student progress and wellbeing through effective tutoring, pastoral care, and strong safeguarding practices.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance Humanities curriculum delivery and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Pay Range: M1 - UPS3 £34,398 - £52,490

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent)
  • Is passionate about engaging students and bringing Humanities subjects to life
  • Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is committed to inclusive teaching and raising achievement for all learners
