We are seeking a well-qualified and dynamic Teacher of History and Politics to join our Humanities Faculty on a full-time basis from September or January. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across all ages. History is a popular choice at both GCSE and Advanced level, and the department has a strong record of success. The willingness to teach Politics as well as History would be essential.

The post would be equally suitable for someone seeking a first appointment or an experienced teacher. A willingness to contribute to the School's wide range of co-curricular activities is expected. Small teaching groups throughout the School are supported by the very latest technology and modern facilities including an extensive use of 1:1 digital learning.

King Edward's has its own generous salary scale as well as contributing a highly competitive 22.5% employer contribution to the APTIS Defined Contribution Pension Scheme and a reduction in school fees. The school boasts a range of quality professional development opportunities and offers flexibility to work off site when appropriate.
