Full Job Description
Due to adoption leave within the History department, we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to take on the position of Teacher of History, to join us in June 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter, on a fixed term contract until 31 May 2027. The successful candidate will be looking for an opportunity to enhance their career in the classroom and have the ability to effectively develop their pedagogy and practice. Experience of teaching across KS3-5 is desirable. In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile teacher with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the development of the History department and the Academy as a whole.
The post would suit experienced teachers or ECTs, for whom an exemplary induction scheme is in place.
