St Brendan's Sixth Form College is seeking a passionate and talented Teacher of Health & Social Care to join our successful and growing curriculum team. You will teach across our Health & Social Care provision, including:
- OCR Level 2 Health & Social Care
- OCR Level 3 Health & Social Care Diploma
- OCR Level 3 Health & Social Care AAQ Extended Certificate We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience of teaching Health & Social Care qualifications and a proven ability to support strong student progress and achievement. Whether you are an experienced teacher, an Early Career Teacher, a Health & Social Care specialist seeking a move into post-16 education, or a professional from a health or social care background considering teaching, we would be delighted to hear from you. About the Role You will teach Health & Social Care across Level 2 and Level 3 programmes, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' knowledge, understanding and application of health and social care principles. - Support students to achieve excellent outcomes in both examined and coursework-based units
- Develop students' understanding of contemporary health and social care issues and practice
- Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement
- Prepare students for progression to higher education, apprenticeships and careers within the sector
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
